Eunice Chumba won the Rotterdam Women’s Marathon title after she managed properly won first place and finished the race in 2:20:31 hours, ahead of the Eritrean athlete Teklegergish Dolshi, who came in second place with 2:21:35 hours, while our champ Rose Chelimo took third place in 2:26:21 hours.
Our outstanding champ Eunice Chumba was able to outperform her competitors and achieve first place among a group of the most prominent female runners participating In the presence of a large crowd of marathon race enthusiasts. Chumba was capable to maintain her fitness reserves throughout the race distance and dealt with her competitors with high tactics to gain the lead position with all due respect.
This is an encouraging result for Chumba before participating in many upcoming official events and competitions for our national women’s marathon team this year.
