The Bahrain Runners Committee donates BD 10,000 to Charity

The Bahrain Runners Committee which operates under the umbrella of Bahrain Athletics Association, made a donation to Al Sanabel Orphan Care Association, Alia National School, the International Women’s Association, the Future Youth Association, and the Ministry of the Interior’s Philanthropist Program, with a total amount of 10,000 Bahraini dinars, after the successful completion of the sports season 2022-2023.

This donation comes from the effective contribution of the Bahrain Runners Committee and its continuous support for volunteer initiatives and associations that serve individuals in Bahraini society, and its commitment to spreading the values ​​of social and humanitarian solidarity towards society.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Bahrain Runners Committee, confirmed on this occasion that these donations come within the framework of the Bahrain Runners Committee’s keenness to spread sports culture, enhance public health, and promote charitable work in Bahraini society. He also stressed that the committee works on a voluntary basis and its goal is to serve citizens and residents of the Kingdom by organizing a series of races and running activities in cooperation with volunteers and various public and private sector institutions. The Bahrain Runners Committee is keen to donate to many charities in the Kingdom after the end of the sports season. The Chairman of the Committee also expressed his great pride and appreciation to the companies and financial institutions:  DHL, Talabat Company, CrediMax, Seef Properties, American Express, Solidarity Company, and Benefit Company for their generous sponsorship of the Committee’s races during the previous season, which contributed to serving the Bahraini community.
